Find the change..(money)...!!

I always seem to find something interesting when am going by the train. Its my daily routine to travel by train, especially in the ladies compartment, an hour in the morning and evening to college. So you have two options- to sleep (only if you get a seat) or just stare around. I prefer looking around I must say and usual I love to stand near the door with my friend, hearing songs and solely observing out the doors. Coming to my point, I do always find something quirky or interesting to share when I am travelling. And here goes my newest experience...

The other day, as usual I boarded the train, but this time my friend couldn't join me. So, I had to travel by myself, and this meant I got bored soon. At the next station a impaired person boarded the compartment, he couldn't walk so he just clambered around. Usually many a people board trains to beg. And my thoughts were proved right when he began to ask alms to us. I don't habitually give alms but he sure changed my mind. He bought with him a broom. I was curious and peeked just a little out of my mobile to see what he was up-to. And surprise of surprises he started cleaning the floor. For those people who haven't seen the floor of a train's compartment I tell you its not a sight to behold. Its always dirty and dusty with food particles, etc, etc. He didn't go around calling "Amma, akka..!!" etc. He started sweeping and people started noticing him. He didn't stop until he cleaned the whole compartment. Then, he looked and just put out his hands. I have never seen so many people giving money and rummaging their bag for it. Even I started looking in my bag for change and at last found it and gave it to him for his 'service'. Yes, I say his service demanded his 'salary'.

He showed me a valuable lesson 'to earn what we need'...... :)
